Stock pin end bit?

I've got an antique stock pin - it's a vertical one, a bit like these - but it has nothing to secure it and stop it falling out (as those in the link appear to have silver stoppers). Can anyone suggest were I might be able to get one - or an alternative? I tried one of these things but it wasn't ideal (too big, and wide so it poked me). Any thoughts?!

It would be worth going to a good jeweller and having a stopper like the ones in the picture made for it.

Hahah yes, that would work! If I need to use it before I can get an end I'll crack open a bottle
