Hello, I'm pondering making my own stock ties and I can't decide which colours to go with. My jacket is a blue tweed and shirt is cream. I don't like white ties, though I know they are popular. I've checked the BD rule book and it looks like anything goes so long as it's muted and not distracting.

So what colours do you dressage folks like to wear?

When I used to wear my brown tweed for BD I used to have a dark beige one with green hearts on (sounds awful but it was really nice!). Why not look at a website like Riding stock market to get some inspiration.

I have white but my shirt is white and my jacket blue, so ties in nicely.

With yours I would match shirt or the tweed blue highlight.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions folks :) I'm still dithering on colours, but I'm keen to make my own so it's unique to me.
