stock ties and pins.

I have a stock tie, but the instructions for it are in french, and aren't clear at all.

Does anyone have any decent pics on how to do one, or a website?

Also, do I need a stock pin, or can I cheat an use a safety pin....I don't have a proper one....or would it be scruffy and rude to use one??

i would get a stock pin. i have an old fasion one that pulls all the way through (not a very good explanation! ) but when its on all u can see is a fox dressed up in hunting gear!
