Stockland Lovell OI report

Dressage, must start by telling you that not only was i following A. Hoy in, but he was following L. Fredricks in, so i had to follow the two best [eventing] dressage riders in the world into the arean, (B. Hoy went in shortly after me riding R. Cockatoo) yeah like i'm going to do a test anywhere near them.. So as i'm cantering round the outside of the arean as A. Hoy is coming out he smiles at me and says "have fun" hehe, i'm sure the judge will with my test, i think..
Anyway, our test was nothing special, it's never going to be but i was really pleased with it!!

He walked where he was ment to walk for a start

The judge was marking pretty harshly, a friend of mine (in same section) usually gets a high 20's or early 30's but this time got a 40.. i got a 46 so to only be 6 marks away from her i though was pretty good

.. when i got my test sheet back there were some pretty unfair marks/comments on there.. but when you're riding against the likes of Ringwood Cockatoo i guess you have to expect that

ShowJumping.. It was spot on all the way round!!

landed on the correct lead after every fence cleared everything in what felt like fine style

.. a very enjoyable clear round

*cough* Ringwood Cockatoo had one down *cough* haha

CrossCountry.. wow wow wow wow wow, I know i'm one lucky girl to be riding such a maching xc

not alot more to say than a fab clear round with only 3 time faults.

So another 2 points.. we only seems to be winning points through double clears and not through being placed.. i would say "must sort the dressage out" but i don't think there's alot that can be done, we're just not cut out for that bit.. oh well.. the other two sure as hell made up for it!!!!

woo hoo fantastic. i'm sure there is least a bit more to come in the dressage given time and patience! but hey double clear at OI level is more than I could ever hope for. so Well done to you and the man especially in such esteemed company

) so obv. don't know if i'm in or not.. then Hartpury CCI**

Also, Squeaky managed to get his picture in the program.. fame haha

and he looks like a sweet butter wouldn't melt pony haha

Re. the ground.. would you believe that it was actually verging on the hard side!!

Ohhhh do you mean the angled rolltops?? If so are you the person walking the novice that i nearly ran over?? I was concentrating soo much, that i thought "i hope they get out the way, cos i can't shout right now" haha

I still haven't entered Hartpury, must do that today!! remember to put who you want to stable next to on the form

Ye thats the one!! i did notice and think it was nice!! is it a gibsons one?? no i just managed to get out of the way and was by the landrover!! but didnt get a lot of time to zoom in so there a big far away!! lol Ye will do!! just hop they let the ~** and ~* stable together!
