Hello,

Welcome to the area.

The local hunt is probably the South Durham. There is also the Zetland which tends to go from the south and west of Darlington.

Stainsby Grange is a riding school and they also do SJ comps - there's a bsja affiliated comp tomorrow and we'll be there.

For hacking you can go to the beach or friends have been on the Castle Eden Walkway which is a disused railway line.

I dont know of any loan horses suitable for hunting as we don't hunt.
