Over the last few days a number of dogs have been stolen from the rural Wantage area. Please look out for a silver VW Golf with a broken driver's side mirror and tell any friends in the area

What types of dogs are being taken?
On Doglost about 3 weeks ago, a black patterdale with an udershot jaw went missing from a farm and was found about 2 weeks later by binmen. He had been dumped in a wheelie bin and had bite marks and had been beaten. I googled the area and there was a high incidence of staged dog fighting there. I wondered if he had been used as a bait dog.

Have just looked at Doglost again and this litte dog was found in the Tadley area of Basingstoke. I believe this is about 30 miles from Wantage.
