STOLEN FOAL-Willoughby Waterleys

STOLEN FOAL - Please Help..............
A foal around 12 HOURS OLD was stolen this morning from Willoughby Waterleys. It was taken between 5am and 9am. It will obviously require much care and attention due to it's age. The mare is frantic and the owner is extremely worried about the whereabouts of the foal. Please - if you have any information contact us here at the practice.
Please SHARE THIS - we need to find this foal fast!

Samantha Jones - The mare is OK, she has been supported by her brother and sister and is coping well. She was in the field as she was not expected to go into labour. She is a cream and white PBA dad is a Grey Pure Bred Arab. We do not know any details of the foal as by day light when we checked the mare, the foal was not with her. We were atending the yard on a three hourly basis to feed another foal on the yard.

This sounds very sad but I would be very surprised if the foal was stolen - who on earth would want the burden of what sounds like a premature foal mid winter?
I'd sadly suspect this foal hasnt made it and if a search doesn't reveal the body in the locality then I wonder if there were maybe predator (fox?) involved

I was just going to say much the same, might be worth checking the field and surrounding areas, what a shame.
