Have you seen this horse?
Bea, 16.1hh grey jumping mare. 7yo. Belgian warmblood. Distinctive horse shoe shape mark on her face, between her eyes. Stolen for the Lewes/Uckfield area on Thursday 3rd July 2008, between 8 and 10 pm, however could be anywhere by now. Microchipped. Very affectionate, at the time of theft she was slightly overweight with lighter dapples due to recent holiday. Cribs a lot, especially when stressed, and really bangs at doors or scrapes her feet if food is around. We have reason to believe she is in transit to be sold on, and may be heading to the continent. Please keep an eye out for her, particularly at shows, sales and auctions If you have any information on where she is, where she’s going, or you’ve seen her, please phone Louise on 07846 548161. OMG!! My stomach flipped when I read this posting. I have just posted "Caution- East Sussex" tonight as we have had this horse box stop outside our yard questioning about the horses in our field and we are only a few miles away from where your mare was taken. What is concerning me is that I have an ex showjumper which is a Belgium Warmbood! I will l speak to YO first thing in the morning and will come back with any info that may be relevant. Im so sorry for your stress its so upsetting - she looks lovely. Will keep major eye out xx

Thanks, although, we have reason to believe this is a personal attack (independant witnesses description of the lorry matches that of someone with a major grudge against us, who's threatened theft before.) they also left their 10horse box empty, leaving 6 coloured cobs in, and only going for their own showjumpers, not any of the ones that are in to be sold, or the liveries, or any tack?

Ok but whether its a personal grudge or not its still theft! I'll find out details of this lorry with these guys later this morning and will post details.

Three middle aged men (English) were seen in the Heathfield/Uckfield area of East Sussex with a Ford Transit towing an empty horse box. Stopped YO daughter to ask if they were our horses? Said yes with that drove off. A little odd dont you think? This was the talking point in the local pub last night as many locals saw this van and trailer and just looked out of character. Not sure if linked to your theft near to us but if need any info then contact me.
