A horse box was stolen from Stables in Kempston, North Bedfordshire, on Saturday the 29th of March, between 10:30, in the morning, and 3:30 in the afternoon. The offender broke the chain on the gate to gain access to the location. The offender removed the horse box and drove off. The horse box was Dark Green, with a bright yellow trailer. The box had no partition inside, and a double breast bar.
The box was taken displaying the registration of the owners vehicle, and a second plate with horses on it. The name of the horse was displayed in gold writing on the side of the box. The name is Copper Countess. A second horse box at the location had the wheel lock removed, but was not taken. Bedfordshire Police ask rural businesses, and owners of livestock to be vigilant. Please report any suspicious visitors, or vehicles immediately, to the Police Control Centre.
