Stolen/missing horses...

I am obviously rather naive...I am amazed by the amount of stolen or 'missing' horse there seems to be at the moment...or have I just had my head in the clouds for a while?
Also, I have now heard that people are cctv-ing their sheep as they keep getting stolen as well...
What is it all coming too?

I suspect that, as with most crime, it's not that it's increased but just that we're more aware of it. The internet gives us the opportunity to exchange information in a way we couldn't have done before.

I agree it might make us all a bit more anxious, as horse owners, though!

I know that livestock thefts are on the up. The high lamb prices don't help. We had three stolen this month. First time in years and years.
I worry terribly about the ponies but we are as secure as we can be but have learnt through the farm that if there is something 'they' want, they'll get it regardless.
