White markings: Mainly white head, coloured marks at right nostril. Large colour block extends from right eye across forelock area and includes left ear and most of left cheek. He has 4 white limbs with feathering. A coloured patch extends into the groin area. He has a coloured patch in the saddle area and coloured areas extend over his hip and stifle areas. His left side has a large coloured patch that extends down the flank into the left groin. At the moment he has a bald patch at the top of his tail where he has rubbed the hair off.

RURAL WATCH Message 21/08/09
This is a message from a colleague in Gwent:
STOLEN HORSE - MONKSWOOD, GWENT.
PAINT, who was stolen from a field in Monkswood. He was the only animal in the field at the time.
The gate had a padlock and chains on, which were forced open and smashed.
PAINT was taken sometime between Sunday 9th August at 4.30pm and Monday 10th August. He was reported as stolen to the police immediately. It is believed that PAINT may have been taken to the Bristol area.
PAINT is a 15 2hh gelding, brown and White skewbald, cob cross.
He is mainly white, but has coloured marks on his right nostril. He has a brown block of colour that extends from his right eye across his forelock area and includes his left ear and most of his left cheek. On the underside of his neck is a large block of brown.
All four limbs are white with feathering and on his left back leg is a coloured patch that extends into his groin. The right side of his body has a triangular coloured area in the saddle area and he has 2 more coloured areas over his right hip and right stifle areas. His left side has a large colour patch extending down his flank into his left groin.
At the moment the top of his tail is bald where he has rubbed it away. He has minor sweet itch that affects the top of his tail and slightly on his mane.
PAINT is not freeze marked or micro chipped. However he has a passport. He is approximately 12 years old.
PAINT has been added to the stolen horse register.
