Pony stolen from a field ajacent to the A21 beetween Hurst Green and Flimwell.
On the evening of August 3rd between 6pm and 8pm. It is believed that she was loaded into a transit van. Trinket is a Skewbald Shetland Mare. She is much loved by her owner. Who is offering a reward for her safe return. She is on the stolen Horse register but unfortunaltely they have put her under the Cheshire Horse Watch so may be missed by people searching Kent & Sussex.

Hi all, my name is Rita and I own Trinket. some one posted her details for me and at last I have worked out how to get on the forum!! I have put a lot of pressure on the police who now agree that we have a widespread problem (not a mass panic attack!!) and an officer is working with me to build a picture of what is happening, where and when so that we can start to link all the information together. I need any verified information on attempted horse theft, horse theft or other suspicious activities to enable us to achieve our aim and get not only Trinket but other horses/ponies/foals reunited with their owners and stop this organised crime. Please do not send pictures (no broadband at the moment). Many thanks for your help. Rita

This Pony has now been found. Not sure of details but the owner has left a message to say that the Police have found her and the pony is back safe and sound.
Thanks to all who looked for her.

Hey every body this is Rita and I have a grin from ear to ear, my girl Trinket is home safe and well. she has been shod and used for driving, has some cuts to her legs but is well and does not seem to be too upset by her adventure. I will prob spend tonight with her in a nice deep straw bed (if she does not eat it first!!) Many thanks to all the people I contacted with stolen horses for their help in finding her and the 100's of people I will never meet for their help in passing on posters etc. This is just the begining, we will continue to help others to find their stolen horses and already have plans to take on the Passport Agency, DEFRA, port authorities and the police. These agencies need to help us. Once again many thanks to every body and well done to Natalie and her mum for getting Baby gilr back. Rita

Fantastic news Rita.

I'd seen your flier in my local feed store and thought your pony was very distinctive and would be easy to spot!

Thank goodness she's back alive and well.
