STOLEN TACK- Oxfordshire

Saturday Evening/ Early hours of sunday morning (26th/27th August!) my livery yard had their tack room broken into, they cleaned out all leatherwork as follows

1 x jaguar xjs jumping saddle
1x ideal event saddle
2x stubben jumping saddle (black and tan)
1x kieffer achen saddle
20 bridles


They also cleaned out polypads, prolight pads, girths stirrups etc etc and a made to measure Patey hat!

As you can see it adds up to a substantial amount of money, none of it was post marked etc but if any one in the area is reading and knows anything please let me know. Maybe a sudden tack clearance or something!!

Also for a heads up that there are thieves operating in the area, we are located not far from Swindon, nr faringdon.

Another of our neighbours, a private yard, reported someone driving down the drive, thankfully they were doing lates and probably scared them off!!

By the way, when we were burgled in 2009 it transpired that our stuff was taken to the car boot sale that takes place at the football stadium in Oxford less than a month after the theft, so please do go and see if you can find your stuff there if there is an upcoming sale, and check all local car boots. We were told our stuff would prob sit in a lock up and then get shipped to Ireland or Holland, it was not the case and we never even considered checking normal car boot sales!

Your only problem is going to be proving ownership unfortunately
