A quantity of tack has been stolen from the Fleet area in Hants. To the tune of about 3K apparently.
I dont have "makes and models" but should anyone be offered anything remotely shifty, please contact hampshire horsewatch.

Not much help to you but in the early hours of this morning (2.30am) my car alarm was going off in the car park in front of our semi in Alresford, Hampshire. I went out with a torch and looked around for reasons - no wind, no windows or sunroof open, no cats about (mind you they would have legged it the din it was making! its a Land Rover Disco), all was still and quiet - so I flicked the alarm again and went back to bed. Not thinking that it might be some light fingered B******* after my western tack in the back. My other half suggested as I got back into bed - perhaps you had better bring your saddles in the house as that was very probably someone 'testing the water' to see what happened! I spent the rest of the night having bad dreams of finding the rear door open and my precious saddles gone! I have used them today and brought them in tonight. I keep them in the car for several reasons - there is no way I would leave tack at my yard, and they weigh quiet a bit, and there are two of them, one for each horse (one size does NOT fit all). Car is a good 50 yards from the house and it is a real pain taking them in and out - but I thought how heartbroken I would be if they were to be nicked - oh I would miss the car too! They are postcoded but what a pain it would be to replace them. One is made to measure and the other came off EBay, but even so they fit my horses AND me! Makes you think.

:( Well would you believe it - as I was finishing the last post the alarm started going again!
Culprit this time - a moth!!!! But tack is staying in the house as I think I may have been reminded what might happen - even to me!
