I posted a while back about my ifor williams that had been stolen from our stables in North Lincolnshire - Goxhill to be precise. Last sunday we spotted the trailer on Ebay, a green ifor williams with no partition, a single full breast bar and unbelievably, my Mums reg still on the back! Basically we bought it on ebay, then police came with us to collect it. Obviously we didn't end up paying! We believe it was a traveller who was selling it on ebay and he has now been arrested. So anyone who has had a trailer stolen, keep looking!

Anyway, the trailer is back with us

all locked up! The serial and chassis numbers have been removed and spray painted over...however the thief has obviously gone to a lot of trouble to stamp in the letters KNOTT where the serial number plate should be. Anyone have any idea what this might mean? Some kind of code? Any thoughts appreciated!

I think that all Ifor William's trailer have the chassis number actually stamped on the chassis, the numbers/letters are cut through the metal so it is impossible to remove. It you did try and remove you would destroy the chassis itself.

Well done for getting your trailer back

Hey Guys, it's rare to hear of people getting them back isn't it?

Dotty1 it was in Kirton Lindsey...about half an hour away! And ponysquasher1968 it's been stamped where the serial number should be, which was a plate? Will look into the Knott chassis anyway
