Hello everyone,

If you can, please help, I had my iforwilliams trailor stolen on 22nd Sep 2022 in Derbyshire, with my bridles, hats, boots, rugs, head collars and other expensive equipment gone with it.

It was all sentimental equipment too, I am so upset.

I have footage of a 4x4 towing it at 230am but cannot see the reg plate. I am heartbroken, and all i have is a crime ref number. If anyone can recommend what else i can do or horse car boots in Derbyshire, id appreciate it.

thank you,
Gemma

I'm so sorry to hear this, what an awful thing to happen. Posting on fb is a good shout, local groups and horse groups, but also if you're near any shops with CCTV you could always pop down and ask if they could look back and if they have footage with a reg plate?

Agree with the poster who has advised tracking it through CCTV. Do all you can to secure footage of the route taken by knocking on doors, asking in shops, petrol stations etc. and present evidence to the police. The farm next door to our stable yard did this when one of the stored caravans was stolen. It was tracked to the M62, and motorway footage and ANPR led police to a site further north, where three more stolen caravans were recovered along with theirs.
