Well I've not had a very nice morning, Jake my 3y.o is missing, I can only presume he has been stolen seeing as the padlock and chain are nowhere to be seen, Bella was in the hay field (which has a gate onto the main road) with the gate still open, luckily the wise old nag stayed in the field, I can only think they tried to take her too but she takes a good hour to load and rears alot...chestnut ex racer mare

. They were both out full time in the field below the hay field (all of the others are down at the stables where the dogs are).

This is just one more thing to go wrong in a long list of events.

Oh god! How terrible for you!!

You probably have but have you contacted all the societies like HorseWatch etc??

How about posting a picture with details then we can all keep an eye out??
 
You seem very calm ,I would be beside myself.Have you checked everywhere , the poor girl who thought hers was stolen the other day found him in a ditch.If he has gone do you have photos that we can print and post at venues.Is he freezemarked?
 
Oh my god, poor you,
I'd be running round like a headless chicken.
is he chipped / freeze marked? any distinguishing marks?

Not freezemarked. No I'm not calm more fed up, everything seems to go wrong. I'm just worrying where he is and that he's ok. We've asked about but nobody has heard anything, there were some cattle loose at 2.30 am though.

Id be in pieces so cannot imagine how you are feeling right now.
 
I'm in Glos...if there's a photo/description I could look out for him for you?
I hope you get him back soon...but try not to worry too much...they've obviously taken him because he is very nice and therefore they'll look after him to keep his value up...
I know you just want him home tho'

It might also be worth asking locally as I've worked in yards where horses have been found...and we had them for weeks before their owners found out, and were reunited.

I know photobucket isnt working atm , but could you possibly join another similar account, and post piccies using that? or has a forum member an account with one of these photo hosting websites that could put the pictures up for you?

Crikes how awful!
Fingers crossed you find him soon and he just got out of the field and is just gorging him self on some nice grass somewhere...
 
15.2hh 3y.o appaloosa x tb. Some days he looks white, some days he's full of colour... he has one recognisable spot on his nearside hind leg.
