Stomach flipping video

omg :X

talk about highs and lows, utter love to hate in that video I bet ha.
certaintly how id feel towards the horse, girl did put herself in a dangerous situation though to be fair.

I think she just didnt seem to take any hints from the horses body language :(
The poor horse was just getting carried away with the fun of the game and expecting his next treat i guess...
Dont even want to imagine what her face looked like after that :(

Certainly another thing to add to my list of things NEVER to try with my girl..

Still not all uploaded yet...but cringing at it all ready. I can wholly sympathise if it's a kick in the face she gets, after being on the receiving end myself just before xmas!

I, too don't think the girl read the horses' language as it was clearly gonna happen.
Stupid, yep, but equally hope she was soon on the mend, and learnt her lesson!

tbh, i dont know how you could feel hate towards the horse in this situation. it doesnt look like the kick was intentional, it looked more like exuberance.
It ws a freak accident - not the horse's fault. Sadly the girl only really had herself to blame in this situation.

Looked like there was a loose bay horse somewhere in there too i saw. Just an accident waiting to happen. hope she recovers ok

I do think she was a bit careless, I can play with my horse at liberty, and a heap of fun, but I keep at his shoulder, and we keep it low key with the energy levels. She let herself get in a bad position.

Nevertheless, I am sure she will have learnt her lesson (the hard way), and no doubt will not let the same thing happen again.

Some comments are a bit harsh. Poor girl was only having fun with her horse and any one of us could get badly injured. I've seen plenty of people on here boasting about all the silly risks they take with their horses and most of the bad accidents my friends have had have been on the ground not doing anything other than perhaps misjudging the risks as we have all done and mostly got away with.

I truly hope she has made a full recovery I have a friend with one eye and another who will never regain her full voice from kicks in the face.

Very silly girl, think she was to busy showing off for the camera rather than paying attention to her horse. I 'play' these sorts of games with mine (not a vegetable stick in sight by the way) but its something we build up to over time and if the 'game' was getting out of hand as this one was it would be stopped pronto, even games need rules!

Jeez! I felt that kick! :(

Poor girl, agree, but this just goes to show what can and does happen when people who don't know what they're doing start messing around with stuff like Parelli/NH. They go to a workshop and think they know all there is to know, and then get home and start playing "games" with their horses, only the problem is that no-one's told the horse that its a "game" and the horse here obviously reacted in the way that horses do and kicked out coz it thought it was being chased.

The body language was blatently there that horse didn't consider it any sort of "game" and it was a disaster basically waiting to happen.

But agree if its your own horse you sometimes don't see what everyone else sees and just carry on regardless.

Poor girl, hope she's OK. She probably still doesn't understand why she got booted tho'...... but hopefully she'll not try that again.
