Stomach friendly low calorie food

Working with the vet, we are going through a gentle elimination programme for slight loss of performance for a lovely cob.

One of the things on the list is (as always) ulcers. The horse is out 24/7 but laminitis is always a threat so anything has to be low food value.

I have bought some Gastic Guard as a supplement …. does anyone know a nice ulcer friendly chaff and balancer/feed to mix it with?

If it is ulcers, can they mend themselves? I will have her scoped next month if we aren’t any further forward, but in the meantime would love some knowledgeable recommendations.

I had an ulca kind chaff recently. It was lovely stuff, half price from Mole Valley.

Fast fibre or Moles equivalent I feed to mine anyway as I avoid sugary foods.

Feed aloe vera if you suspect ulcers it's a very good prevention as well.
