Stoneleigh sales-What's it like ?

Hi, is there anyone on here, whose been to Stoneleigh sales...they have a sale on Saturday, but i'm thinking of going to the march one...mostly for the tack..I always used to go to Melton Mowbry, but that has since closed down and i find Derby sale rubbish. Do they have alot of horses,tack available there...I don't really want a wasted journey,as we are over an hours drive away. Opinions would be grateful, thanks guys x

Its usually quite busy. Much of the tack is second hand but there's often a lady selling out of a lorry. The horses are usually mostly gypsy cobs (youngsters) and the usual welsh ponies etc, but it's worth a visit.

Its nothing special and not a big sales either. Most tack is very old saddles etc and horses are mostly gypsies ones.
