I had my old pony insured with them & they were brilliant. The poor lad had numerous claims & they never quibbled at all. Only reason my current lad not insured with them is they were much more expensive than anyone else but I honestly think it's due to my history with them
I literally had thousands of pounds from them.
My friend also was insured with them (again they were brill) but sadly she lost her mare to grass sickness after only just over 2 weeks of owning her. She endured colic surgery at Liphook before they diagnosed GS so Stoneways ended up paying for surgery and then death as well.
She too cannot afford to insure new one with them, again we are sure it is down to our history.
I cannot praise them highly enough, sure you won't have any problems if our experiences are anything to go by.
My previous horse was insured with them. She broke her leg in the field & they were fantastic. Claiming was easy, they were lovely (very helpful & sympathetic on the phone) & the money was paid quickly.
