ALERT - Please note the 4yr old mare advertised in Horse and Hound from Gloucestershire on page 125 is NOT by Stormhill Mink. No breeder unless they have a covering certificate and/or a CHAPS or a Wetherbys verified parent passport have any proof of parentage.

Please when you are purchasing a horse whoever it is by check its details with the relevent PIO or on the NED. If the sire and dam are hand written in the passport I would question if this is right without further investigation.

I have spoken with the advertiser who bought this horse as a foal in good faith - we are still trying to locate its correct sire details.

I have spoken to the advertiser and she has told me who they bought the foal from as a breeder. The person concerned has had no connections with me or storm but says they have stud rights to him. Further investigations are being carried out.

Also there was only one filly bred that year and that was out of my T/B mare.

I own stormhill mink and have done since november 2002

After more investigations it seems that this mare could be by Stormhill Minks Grandson Oscar who was bred in Cheshire. All parties have been made aware and are trying to resolve her true sire identity so her passport can be updated appropriatly.
