My saddle no longer fits my Luso. Someone mentionned to me that Strada saddles are particularly suited for Iberians - no withers and very wide. I'm after a really decent dressage saddle and also a cheaper jumping saddle - we'll never do much over 3' but jumping in a dsg saddle is proving to be quite 'exciting'.
Any recommendations for an Iberian, any opinions on Stradas. anyone selling a Strada?
Thanks

Have you looked at the WOW? All parts of saddle are interchangeable and there are so many different size headplates that you can adjust as and when needed. I've got a WOW with dressage flaps and removeable blocks and just change the blocks when jumping.

Barry Swaine at Walsall. all his are totally adjustable (by his saddlers), very wide not a problem at all. you can have serge or leather lined, owen or full panel, as much flex in the tree as you like, and the trees are very flat (like horses' backs, which, strangely, aren't banana-shaped like a lot of trees...)
my chiropractor swears by them and won't consider any other saddle, as far as the horses' backs are concerned.
