The one I have sat in was horrible! It suits the horse very well (Anglo Arab with a funny/sensitive back, habit of bucking people off occasionally) but I find it very uncomfortable and it takes ages to warm up in winter. I once tried sitting on it in winter before it had warmed up - it was like sitting on two breeze blocks under the saddle and the horse had his back up before I had landed in the saddle - I didn't try that one again! It then always went on at very least 10 mins before getting on.
The owner likes the saddle but would prefer a Wow.
I have a dressage saddle and am very pleased with it. Mine warms up very quickly and is very comfortable. They are a little different to sit in, but for the better imo. I got really lucky and managed to get a second hand one that had hardly been sat on, for half the price. Ilka who owns the company is really helpful and nice person to speak to without giving you the hard sell. She was perfectly ok when I told her I was buying a second hand one. Might be worth giving her a call.
