Also in Vet.

My lad has some issue between hip and stifle. On flexion tests, he's still only slightly lame, it's not noticeable unless you know him well. He's been on box rest for a week and 2 Danilon daily. He's now finished the Danilon and the vet is coming back on Friday. She wants to go with hylauronic acid injections if he's still lame.

I personally think we should be looking at x rays or a scan to find out what the actual problem is rather than going for injections and still being unaware of the specific problem, of he's still lame.

Thoughts, please.

I totally agree. HA can be really useful, but surely the first thing is to find out what the problem is. How can the vet treat something that they don't know what they are treating?
