strange bald patch* pic*

Basically was giving the madam a good scrub down today and i noticed this weird bald patch under her tummy. Now its too far back to be her girth rubbing and her rug isnt tight enough to rub like that either The only thing i can think of is the flies have been feasting on her tummy, poor lass. She has been stamping her feet and been generaly a grump so im thinking this could explain the stamping if its been flies. So ideas welcome, i dont want to have to call the vet out for something silly

Flies! Mine has the same thing, anywhere he has a whorl/change of direction of the hair the flies can get right into the skin... Belly and chest are the worst.

Thanks rhino just needed to see what other folk thought, will put some summer fly cream on and see if it gets better, think i will get a fly rug with a belly for next year tho, dont want her getting grumpy when it can be prevented. Bl**dy flies lol
