Strange baldy bits!

Archie has this weird baldy spots on his sides and I have no idea what they could be.
The only way I can describe them is they are round baldy patches and they are getting worse

He's not bothered at all by them, and I cant find any signs of any mites.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I did think of that, but it doesnt really look like it.

My horse had funny bald patches which looked like bites I thought originally. I then thought he had ringworm and got Imavarol from the the vets. Vet got me to take a scraping and he grew it and it turned out to be some random fungal infection but not ringworm.

Mum has had a look in her vets book and its like it is mange and harvest mites!!

AND its contagous!! Double
