Strange behaviour when rolling

Hi,
We have a horse on trial, today when he was in the paddock and went to roll, he went down on the front, tucked his back feet in, then jumped up and did a jog with his back feet, almost as if he was getting electric shocks, he did this a few times, I've never seen this before.
We have been unable to contact his owner to find out if this is a habit of his, or could it be a sign of something being wrong, he has not been vetted yet

I woiuld mention it to the vet when you have him vetted. It might well be a pain indicator, either back or hind limbs.

OTOH he might just be a bit *special* !!

Thanks for that, until today we were pretty sure he had his forever home, I will arrange his vetting for this week
