Strange Horse!

My chestnut mare has the last 2 day been rather settled, she's normally loopy. She was still hyper 2 ride and lead out but seems really depressed in her stable. Unfortunatly she doesnt get any turn out. She goes out her stable at least twice a day tho. This morning when i went down to do her she seemed her normal self other than she hadn't pooed much in the night and the fresher poos were a bit runny and she hadnt eaten all her hay which she does do somethimes. Do you think she's just a bit depressed of cause the weather was so bad the last few nites she hasnt been getting much sleep? It just seems a bit odd, she is still getting over rain scald and has a small patch on her shoulder that keeps coming up.
Thank you for any ideas, this is 1 of the times when you wish horses could speak!

i'm not really sure, i have never kept a horse in all the time, i personally don't think its fair to the horse, but when it can't be avoided theres nothin you can do about it, if she doesn't change get the vet out to see her. or maybe she just needs lots of cuddles lol!! poppy would sometime look quite sad but after a good cuddle she would perk up he he!!

Has she got any stable toys to keep her mind busy... like a decahenron ball that can dribble her feed out while she kicks it around her stable or tie a apple dangle up.

If she's normally ok with being in and its a sudden change then I'd give her a few days and if there is still no change and she's not eating then I'd check with your vet.
