strange lump on leg

Anyone any suggestions what it might be, it appeared last month as a bit of a lump on the top of her front leg on the outside, no hair on it and a bit scabby but not sore, I thought she had maybe scratched it and as she lies on that elbow maybe it was taking a while to heal but it is actually growing quite a bit, she is still not bothered by it at all and is generally fine in herself, we are off to the vets tomorrow to get it checked just wondered if anyone could suggest what it might be and should I be worried?

Could be a cyst, could be a number of other things. Best to get it checked by your vet. Let us know what they say.

If your dog is under 3 years old and the lump looks red and sore it could b a hystiocytoma which is a benign lump that disappears without treatment. Best get the vets opinion just in case
