After my mares injury last night, got an experienced (in jabbing) friend to give my mare her antibiotic jab tonight, she was good as gold and stood nicely whilst it went in but straight after she dropped her head and seems reluctant to want to keep her head up now. She did eat her feed with her bute in but now keeps dropping her head, i've rung the vet for advice but am waiting for a return call as he is in surgery.
Does this seem a wierd reaction, i'm quite worried
