My horse, Danny developed strange swellings a few days ago that me nor my mum have ever seen before!
This is the first summer we've had him so we don't know whether it's normal for him at this time.
They are very round, soft squishy swellings on the outside of his forelegs just below his knee, near the back. They look a bit like large splints but they're not.
My first initail thought was a horsefly bite or a wasp sting, but they're in exactly the same place on both legs so I think they can be ruled out!
He is a Welsh C x Arab if that makes any difference!
If anyone could tell me what they are/how they're caused please let me know, it is very much appreciated!
