Heard a rumour - can anyone else shed any light please? Only the rumour states owners are evacuating the yard (irresponsible tits!) and we shall be calling an end to the showing season if this is the case!!!

IT IS NOT STRANGLES IN BOLLINGTON
Test results came back negative over a week ago
NOBODY has been irresponsible on the yard NOBODY has evacuated and all safety precautions were put in place immeadiatley.
The all clear was given by the vet and would appreciate it if people were to stop spreading silly vicious rumours

Thank goodness for that!!
I'm not spreading, I'm just asking for clarification! If it were true, we'd have to quarentine our yard!!! Fortunately it's not!
Any idea where it came from though? Cos the person who told me is NOT someone who normally picks up on these things!!!

I didnt mean to sound abrupt but alot of people are spreading rumours and as you will know the word 'strangles' puts the fear of death into most people 
Why would you have to quarentine your yard all the way down there
I really dont understand why you have been told that people are being irresponsible and what they said to back up their claims either

my horses are in Macclesfield.
And I've now discovered that the rumours came from someone on that (presumably your yard!) who visited every yard in macclesfield claiming they needed a home for 4 horses due to strangles outbreak! And then proceeded to touch everyone elses horses!
So thats where your rumours are coming from!!! I imagine the number of horses will narrow it down to who is responsible for them!
They haven't made any friends on the yards they visited for their irresponsible behaviour, mind!
