strangles in lancs/merseyside?

Heard a rumour there has been another outbreak around merseyside/lancs border - can anyone confirm?
Am supposed to be doing dressage at liverpool equestrian club (LEC, shady acre, kirkby) on sunday, but might not go if theres strangles about - our yard had an outbreak earlier this year and dont want another!

You could always have a look at merseyhorse.com 's forum. It's a bit kiddie, but lots of the young LEC members go on there and it may well mention strangles in the area.

Ive not heard of anymore outbreaks either.

yes there is a few cases i can tell you the yards if you wish to pm me, i am in knowsley and ones very close our yard. we are not letting the kids go to shows untill we know anything else. also no one is allowed on the yard unless authorised
