straps to attach bit to head collar

Ive just seen some straps to attach a bit to a head collar... just wondered if anyone had used them and ridden in them? I think they may make the bit too low down anyway but just wondered?

Never used/seen them before but if they fit right they could be very useful for riding the slightly more 'crazy' horses up from the field

I've used them once, but they didn't make the bit fit right.

I solved the problem: snapped up a "Barefoot Cedar" bridle on e-bay & donno how the heck I ever managed without it. Its got detachable cheekpieces and you can just use it as a headcollar or clip the bit on and then its fine to ride in! An indespensable piece of kit.

OR you can buy them from Performance Equestrian's website, or Raddery Equine, in synthetic materials. Endurance/TREC people use them.

I'm bone idle and these bridles are fab. Libby's I think did them too, now on the Polypad website I think?
