So it's finally dawned on me that I'm possibly not helping our partnership and if I want to take the next step up I need to start working on myself out of the saddle.
I ride most days, try to stretch before and after riding and row 5k four times a week but nothing seems to be moving the needle and even though I've saved tons of rider exercise routines I feel I would benefit from at least kicking off my attempt at getting stronger under the watchful eyes of someone who actually knows what they're doing!
I've had a quick google but can't find much, so can anyone recommend a strength and conditioning coach in the Surrey/Berkshire area that preferably specialises in helping dressage riders?
Cookies and a baileys for anyone that can help.
