What would you do?
Horse heavy and leans - Has a spavin so finds it harder to take weight on the back-end than I would like.
I am aware of the work required including plenty of transitions, but I have been advised for a long while to keep my hands low on him, now recently I have been advised to raise my hands so that they are in a 'normal' position, arms about 90 degrees. Low hands don't seem to stop the leaning and I tip forward, higher hands I can sit up but he hollows (although to be fair he is not really used to this).
He is 15 and I am trying to get him out doing prelim and novice.
