Has anyone had any experience with this?
My boy keeps getting one abcess on his throat, no discharge, no temperature, no cough and he looks like a healthy horse.
Have had it lanced the last time he had it but now he's got a cough - not related, I think - and the abcess has come back again!
Vet has given me 2 weeks worth of antibiotics this time- does this seem too much??
And is this abcess likely to keep coming back??
Is there anything else I can do??
Unfortunately horse is not insured so would prefer to avoid expensive tests....
