I know this is a silly post but i have a horse which is a bit strsssy weaves when stressed - moved yard yesterday and i know it takes time to settle but jeez he never been this bad - got down at 6.15 am this morning he was weaving franticaly when other horses going out , turned him out with new herd quick run around but all well - but tongiht he was weaving rearing screaming and just generally a sweaty beast :( another livery just been down again and let me know he is fine and quiet but seems to be like it when im there. iv got him a lick for stable and everything any other ways i can settle him down.

what you have to remember you are his security blanket and it will take a few days for him to settle. If he's really bad have a word with you vet about sedalin to keep him calm for a day or two, sometimes they get themselves into a tiswos.

when i bought baby she was a total stress head having being beaten and battered - she weaved for england even just stood on lead rope, at back of box, tied up she just weaved - for baby its routine that allows her to calm - you have just moved yard yes? . so its change for horse. new yard new smells new sights new horses thats a lot for a horse to take in . Take a breathe and stay calm and keep routine as near as poss to what was before. for you you must stay calm hun spend time - quiet time with youre horse - sounds silly but i sung to baby - a song from cinderella thats great for calming. I feed all food on floor as read a report that the actually act of grazing/eating from floor is relaxing to horses. but most of all she had routine.

Try not to work your self up hun - it will get better - 4 yrs on baby sometimes stresses but mostly only dances ( as i like to call it ) at feed time - shes chilled happy and stress free . keep breathing and smiling and please always pm me if need a shoulder :) xx

My friends horse is like that..he was on box rest & would completely fine & them when his owner arrived he'd really play up..she'd get ina state & worry sick about him & as soon as she was gone he was fine.. if people have told you he's fine when your not there then try not to worry but if he does get bad as EB said above get some sedalin although you have to give it to them before they get stressed..it doesn't work if they're all ready wound up..
