I'm starting to get really worried I cant get excited about moving abroad until i know ponykins has a great home!! Hes advertised in plenty of places, going to put a card up in the tackshop tomorrow. Why cant i find a good loaner?!?!iv stopped being so fussy now ill just go for a good full loan in the south east!!!!!!!if anyone knows of anyone competent looking for a good 14.2 pls pls pm me and il love you forever

If you are worried, perhaps it would make you feel better if you also look for a livery yard where the pony can be kept on supervised grazing or full livery, just in case you won't find a suitable home on time. That way you don't have to feel under so much pressure. I guess the market is not great for loan ponies right now, but it may be easier to find a loan home in spring. I know how stressful these moves are, good luck!

yeah thats a good idea actually thanks i will look into it

im off to work on a yacht in the south of france cant wait just got this last massive thing to sort out first!!!!lol!!

My friend near Felbridge has a little livery yard, where my mare lives in retirement. It's fairly basic, but she really cares for all of the horses there, she might be able to take your boy in at a reasonable price and look after him while you're away. Pm me if you think this might be handy, I can ask her for you.

I know of a lady in our rc looking for a mother/daughter share, I am not sure what size she wants though and also she has a place for a pony at her place in East Sussex (just around the corner from me) so is further away from you than you want, but let me know if you want me to ask her?

A boat in the south of France ... for the summer .... how lovely

Have you tried asking around at local riding schools? They may have competent teenagers, small adults who would be interested in a loan. You could also call round some local livery yards. Put notices up in tack shops, and non-horsey shops. Call your local hunts, pony clubs and riding clubs too they might know of someone or be able to put a notice on their website.

Agree with the above - I would put cards up in the riding schools and livery yards. That's how I found my last loan horse. Local Pony Club websites have loan sections which may be useful to you as I searched on this and there wasn't that many advertised - big plus for you if your adding an ad.

Good luck and enjoy France!

might know of someone looking near Pangbourne, if they havent found anything yet. If that sounds possible, can you PM me more details, and I can pass them on for you

Hi, also know of someone (mature adult) who is loving for a small horse/large pony for safe hacking over in Isfield (East Sussex) that’s if she hasn’t found anything yet. Please PM me if a possibility.
Enjoy the Summer yatching.
