Stressful day! HELP!

So about a month ago hunni had the depo injection and a few days later we moved yards, all is good and hunni has stopped her hormonal behaviour! I haven't even noticed she is in season until today... The last few days she has been more grumpy than usual, and if I kick her/squeeze her it's like stickin a rocket up her arse, so it must be sore,(at first I thought because she moved paddocks she may be a bit high on grass!) and today bought
her in and she would not listen in the menage, constantly neighing to horses and when I nudged her to keep the canter going she 'hopped'(or atleast I think,she has a bouncy canter xD) do you think the injection is wearing off? Is it possible to get a 'top up' because she has been brill the past few months and i don't want the evil mare back

I don't know about the injection but my old mare had an implant for hormones and it was expected to last about 3 months and then she could have another one so I would assume it is the same with all contraceptive type things?

Yes it is! She only had it one month ago

Did your vet say anything about when she could do the next one? Or, if it didn't work/not work for any length if time what the alternative might be?
