My mare has come into season and has had a complete character change, she is 5yrs and was backed last year,kept in a field of geldings and mares,I didnt notice any change in her behaviour all summer.This year she is in a field of mares and some days I cant get her in from the field,although I can catch her ok she charges around me and into me. I have had geldings before so this is new to me how do other people manage this type of behaviour? Ive had her since she was 3 months old and she has never been like this before.
