Being the curvy chic that I am, I have fat little legs

Does anyone have a tip for stretching my new riding boots. They fasten ok without jods on but I could do with a couple of extra cm's on the legs.

Suggestions please........

I had the same problem, I used saddle soap on them at first and with time and through wearing them everyday they have thankfully loosened!

I am in the same predicament, I just today bought a new pair of jods which are not as thick as my other ones and got my new boots on ok.
I think wearing them as much as possible as the answer, if they are leather they will soften and become more flexible.
I have been slathering them in leather balsam to try to keep them softer too

I oil mine lots, wear them round the house for a week and then ride in them at the yard for a month or so and get them moulded to my legs...i do get obsessive about cleaning them though... i love new boots

Oil them and wear them on with a pair of knee high socks. Warm them up in front of the fire before you put them on and the leather will warm and stretch easier. Wear them as much as possible around the house – stiff new boots make going to the loo…interesting

But don’t do what I did when I first had my non-zipped boots (it was a nightmare getting them on at first!), leave them in front of the fire too long, try to pull them on with just a pop sock on, realise your leg is burning and there’s nobody in the house to help you, try to pull them off yourself, get them stuck half way and end up hopping around, crying in pain as the leather burns your leg!

Oh Muffinio - it's a shame you don't have that on video. £250 from You've Been Framed would go some way to a new pair of boots! Poor you....

They do fit me well now, though, so no pain, no gain!

And believe me, when you're stretching no zip boots, it really hurts for the first few months!

I know - I remember when I first got mine! Some serious pain barriers had to be breached. Didn't go to quite the same extremes as you though

Thanks for the replies folks. Looks like its pain and elbow grease for me this weekend.

I tried the wet newspaper thing and it it didn't work.

The joys of having chubby little legs.

I don't think you could ever stretch them quite that much....
