D is getting better and better at going xc but I'm getting left behind sometimes because I haven't got much faith in her striding. Strangely enough she was jumping nicely going downhill last night but doing the same jumps going uphill she was tending to put in an extra little one alot of the time. The one jump where she didn't was where my instructor shouted "Go" at the point where she thought I ought to kick. D clearly pays more attention to me than her and leapt into the air taking a long one and caught me by surprise.
