I have a short dressage length Stubben cord girth, that is really working like a charm.

But it isn't a dressage girth so doesn't have the keepers for the girth straps (I've sewn silicone plaiting bands to it for the moment). Is there such a thing as a string dressage girth? Or am I better looking into cobbling something (or asking a saddler maybe) more normal than plaiting bands?!

All the ones I've seen are just short girths, for underflap girth straps and that's not an option on my saddle!

Anyone know of any in existence?

I was looking for one of these only yesterday and failed to find one. I like my long string girth but am changing saddle to one that needs a dressage girth. Unfortunately I can't even cobble something together as the shorter 'long' girths still aren't short enough for us.

Stubben trevira looks like what you are after but not sure it has the keepers

Its the trevira I have. I actually ordered 3 (as they were in a sale and the three equaled the cost of one full price :D) and interestingly they are made from 3 different materials :o

And so has no keepers :(

I think I will have to have a word with a harness maker to see what can be done that doesn't impinge on the good points of the girth!

I loved my Stubben string girth but needed a proper dressage girth. I now use a professional choice ventech girth, would highly recommend it in terms of not slipping and not rubbing.
