Would it work on a horse?! ? I’ve clipped the Friesian but just manage a large bib and neck clip as he was awful to do under his belly. Seems a lot to call out the Vet to sedate to just do under his belly so I’m look at other options! Would a stripping tool used on terriers work on a horse if used carefully? I just want to thin the hair on his belly so he doesn’t get too hot and not get injured in the process. Thanks

I've only used them on horse tails before....they work on those! I don't know whether horse body-hair would be coarse enough for the blades to catch it though. Wouldn't it take absolutely ages to do? And probably wouldn't be very good for your back

I’ve just discovered smart grooming do a bigger one for the body too - just like a brush! Think this may be the answer to my prayers!
