Struggling to find a ride or even a loan!

I had a ride organised but sadly she went lame, and I know the seasons started but are there none left! Haha! I had a very good season last year at be100 entered two novices, but missed my flight back and the next one horse went lame again,
I'm now looking for a loan horse because I know finding owners for be100/novice+ level are near impossible,
But where are the loan horses? When I was a student I put my fab horse up for loan and there were loads of them about this time, where are these horses?
I don't think I'm asking for too much?

Do these horses exist?
I wouldn't be hurt if the student took the horse back either, I don't mind bouncing between horses! I just miss competing in getting seriously jealous right now!
 
Ah yes quite a distance that!
I don't know your circumstances but once you get it out the way it doesn't seem like such a big step, I remember walking courses and thinking it looked bigger than 1m but then when I was riding it it seems to all shrink, even when I was riding quite a backwards thinking horse, also picking the right event made it so much easier for myself, though I wasn't given a chance as the owner only let me do one 90!!!
 
Yes I know what you mean. I'm a bit of a wimp. Admittedly she makes 80cm show jumps seem tiny, and she is very bold and talented so we might get there some day. She has a lot to learn first.
