I've tried several different bits for my horse with the above seeming the best so far.. Does anyone know if it's dressage legal ?

If its a standard loose ring or D ring I don't see why not.

It locks into a straight bar when reaching a certain point. I've looked everywhere but can't find the answer !!

I don't know what the BD rule book is like - in France we have diagrams of what is allowed. you don't say if you will be riding in affiliated classes or not, but have you tried phoning BD - I guess most unaffil classes take their rules from BD

I know it takes time for the regulations to catch up with the new technology. e.g. in France we are allowed to use the bits with a centre barrel which allows independent side action (like Myler), but that is new only 1 or 2 years ago - compared to how long the bits have been available...

Can't see why not - just looks like a d ring snaffle with a losenge/ peanut
