Stubben Genesis saddle...Opinions please?

Im desperately after a Stubben Genesis showjump saddle ~ does anyone own one and what are your thoughts on it? Good? Bad? Worth the money?

I'm after a 30" tree in 17" or 17.5" seat ~ are there many secondhand available out there? Are they hard to sell on?

The saddle that Hattie came with when I got her on loan was a Stubben Genensis. I gave it back to her owner as it was SO HARD! Well made but so uncomfortable.

The seats run large too. I'm 5'9" (about a size 14/16) and usually take a 17 1/2"- 18" in saddles. This was an 18 1/2" and it was massive on me, felt like I was sliding around in it. I reckon a 17" would have been fine for me as they have long seats.

Hattie's owner ended up selling it on Ebay for about £450 last summer, it was only about a year old too.

I posted about these saddles last week - didn't really find out much, but stinkyminkymoo has one for sale - I think it was a choco one, 17.5". Pm her and suss it out! Good luck x
