Stubben Hamanol

Just treated myself to another new bridle- Whoops I now have the Stubben 1000 padded bridle in both colours!!! my black one is 9 years old and still immaculate so I want to keep my new brown one in good condition too.

Does anyone use this Stubben Hamonol? do you clean the leather first then apply this?

Any thoughts?

I really like it, gives a nice shine to the leather. I clean the leather, then effax balsam, then hamanol if needed.

Clean the leather with hot hot hot water, dry and condition the leather then rub in the hamanol, leave it to completely soak in and then buff. Brings up even old leather beautifully. Fab for riding boots too!!
